Ninety-seven percent are worried about the economy, 79 percent describe themselves as “very worried.”

So thanks for thinking ahead, for taking integrity into account and for putting jobs first by voting for a man who has NO experience in the private sector and who has NO understanding of what we need to do to get out of the mess people like Gingrich have visited upon us.

Just like in 1776 when South Carolina refused to address the issue of slavery insuring a Civil War within 100 years (beginning at Ft. Sumpter SC), they have again made self centered decisions to the detriment of the country as a whole.

In 2008 they gave us John Mc Cain.  South Carolina, according to Fox news (who’s called the state for “Swifty” with 2% of the vote) has now given us “Swiftpants Gingrich”.  The talking heads over there are absolutely giddy with delight. Juan Williams can’t stop grinning.  Mary is just over the moon with delight.

While it is cliche to say, “Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it” it is the truth.  I’d ask God to Bless America but I’m not sure He’ll bother. People who can’t make decisions between those who have integrity and those who don’t, deserve exactly what they get.

So now we have the claim that a school system overwhelmingly administrated by minorities is committing bias against students who are members of that same minority group but make up the majority of the student body.  So here’s my questions:

What is the white to black student ratio in DC.  1:3, 1:10, 1:15?

What are these students being suspended for?

What is the “ethnicity” of those doing the suspending?

Are non minority student behaving in the same manner and not being suspended or are they not engaging in said behavior, therefore not being suspended?  According to the National center for Educational Statistics there are over 66,000 black to roughly 22,000 white children.  I’m not even adding latinos, asians and american indians.

Are there white children in the classrooms of these suspended victims?

Are the suspendees being suspended for nothing more that their color/race?

I guess maybe I’m just not up on the “new” math but it seems to me that if the predominant race is being suspended more often than the minority, it is a function of math (ratios) not bias.

Beside can you call it bias if the race/ethnicity is picking their own members?

Political Correctness and circular thought make my head hurt.

Dear Candidates,

Now is the time to realize that the light you see in the tunnel is a train.  Yes, a train wreck is poised to happen and the main stream media and your competition are waiting with bated breath.  They’re fairly foaming at the mouth in anticipation of the professional wrestling cage match that will occur from now until the convention, when after soiling your dens you will expect the party faithful to fall in line like good little sheeple.

As usual you have refused to learn from even recent history.  The convention of 2008, after the backroom deals between McCain and Huckabee to keep Romney out of contention, couldn’t even be saved by Sarah Palin herself.  The darling of the Tea Party couldn’t overcome the distaste which you foisted upon those of us on the right.  Some of us held our noses and voted for McCain but many simply stayed home and voted for none of the above (which should be on every election ballot, by the way).  Look what it got us.  An inexperienced, incompetent, socialist-communist, hedonist, quasi-religionist with delusions of relevancy.  Our economy’s in the tank, our foreign policies are a disaster and our country’s being invaded every minute by people who’s main goal is to get as much money as fast as possible before we are all living in a ditch with a tin roof.

So, what to do, what to do?

1. Stop telling us what the other guy has said, will say and is saying right now, you’re not Dan Rather, Katie Couric or Bryan Williams.  We’re not stupid and the mainstream media is going to do a hatchet job on them anyway so why bother.  Tell us your message, your plan, your intentions.  It is not your  job to vet the candidate, that’s our job.

2. Stop pandering to the mainstream press.  Barbara Walters, Chris Matthews, Ed Schultz  are never going to like you or give you a fair shake.  Spend you’re time meeting real people, go on talk shows that will at least give you an even chance to get your message across.

3. Stop focusing on this state or that state.  You want to be president of the United States.  Visit folks in all the states you can get to.

4 Don’t back down from a fight with the media or the left.

5. Say what you mean, mean what you say.

6. Develop an attitude of gratitude and share that with everyone you come in contact with.

7. Most importantly look up INTEGRITY in the dictionary. Memorize it, practice it, live it, embody it.

Then maybe we won’t have to suffer through 4 more years of president Obamalamadingdong and his coven of cravens.  Good luck and God bless.

While this is a broad brush I think it is true that the rich by and large aren’t religious in nature. They have depended on the “arm of the flesh” for a long time. Even those with inherited money don’t see the need to believe in anything greater than man. The poor by and large also don’t head off to church as a rule. They prefer to get their help from an entity that doesn’t expect them to do anything for it. Most churches expect those who get help from them to do certain things and not do others. Most people don’t want anyone putting limits on their behavior.

The middle class though, these are the church goers, the tithe payers, the tax payers, the family raisers, the savers, the spenders, the engine of this country and the world. There was a very interesting book out years ago which sought to remind us that world wide there are many more poor nations and many more poor within nations than producers and with industrialized nations approaching zero population growth, there are soon going to be too many who don’t produce as opposed to those who do. What then will happen to those who are the non producers when there are no longer those who take care of them, fund their towns, aid their countries to feed their people?

Here in this country we’ve already seen, thanks to the occupy movement, what happens when people throw away self sufficiency and personal responsibility and embrace the Nanny state. The chaos, the anarchy, the lawlessness of occupy camps with their violence, danger and destruction shows what life is like in a liberal utopia. Without laws and morals civilization will sink into the abyss. Most of us who are thinking individuals do not want any part of this. Hence the approval rating of Obama and Congress. If he keeps it up there will be a rise in consumer spending…….

at the torch and pitchfork stores at least.

NPR points out that “progressivism” was the winner in the election of Woodrow Wilson over T.R. but as with most unsustainable concepts progressivism was soundly defeated in later elections and became a hiss and a by word for almost one hundred years.  The only way progressivism can be sustained is through socialism or communism both of which have been proven dangerous to freedom, liberty and human life. (See North Korea, USSR, Cuba, et al for confirmation).  Still liberals try to disguise old, failed, tired ideas into fresh, shiny new sound bites.

Allow me to fill you in on some Kansas history.  From the outset the Kansas territory has been a battle ground for divergent and diverse ideals.  Some people came here to obtain land, some to speculate, some to hunt and trap but most came to create a better life, at least in the very beginning.  Soon however the national angst over the issue of slavery turned the territory into a maelstrom bordering on bedlam. Abolitionists were recruited to come and settle in Kansas to provide citizens to vote anti-slavery.  Pro-slavery folks from near by Missouri swarmed into border towns to counter the steady stream of immigrants from the north east coast. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that eventually these two groups would become embroiled in measure for measure campaign including murder, arson, intimidation and general lawlessness.

Some of the highlights include the Massacres at Pottawatomie  and Marias des Cygnes rivers, the shelling of Lawrence and the Wakarusa War.  Neither side of the slavery issue covered themselves in glory in Kansas.  The rule of law was discarded and as Governor Wilson Shannon opined as he resigned office in 1856,

Govern Kansas…….you might as well attempt to govern the devil in Hell!

While the president would like to advance his income redistribution meme it will have a hard sell in Middle America.  Kansas, who’s largest city is Wichita, has been laboring since 2001 to recover from the effects of 9/11.  The down turn in the aircraft industry, the illegal immigration problem and the “Wall Street and too big to fail” bailouts have impacted on families here since the fall of the Twin Towers and in some cases even before that.  Not to mention the attacks on personal wealth through inheritance taxes and government land grabs as well as the war against corporate and personal “greed” which has decimated the private, corporate plane industry. Ethanol production has quadrupled the cost of feed, causing the elevation of prices for all manner of goods across the board. So the “benefits” of that “green” industry are costing the average person more than the rise in gas prices.

While the larger cities in Kansas are slightly liberal (as are most med-large cities across the nation and especially because several of them are college towns, enough said) the vast majority of Kansas is conservative/libertarian.  There is no doubt that Democrats will pack the house with party faithful but in the rest of the state not only do we not want the president in our town, we don’t want him in our state.  His message will  not resonate here, there is no “friendly” entity outside of the Wichita Eagle, Lawrence Journal World,  Topeka Capital Journal, Kansas City Star and other media publications. The vast majority of Kansans, even those who originally supported Obama have long since suffered buyers remorse.  They see now what inexperience and a socialist agenda can do for them. They understand that voting against a candidate is never a good idea.  They also don’t trust the media to truthfully tell them about a candidate.  As with most newspapers the Eagle has had a steady decline in readership that began with the sale of the paper to the Ridder company and now to the McClatchy  organization. Roughly 79,00 people subscribe to the paper out of a population of 498,365 in 2010, down from 88,502 in 2006.

For Obama to choose Osawatomie as his venue shows his and his sycophants total lack of understanding or knowledge of history.   While Teddy Roosevelt gave his progressive laced pontification from that venue it has a sadder history.  It is on the banks of the Pottawatamie River that John Brown, his sons and anti-slavery terrorists rousted out of bed in the middle of the night, 5 men including fathers and sons and murdered them for the sin of having a divergent opinion.  No matter your stand on an issue the fact that you don’t agree with someone shouldn’t necessitate your death.  Not then, not now.  Nor should the perpetrators of such barbarism be hailed as heros or martyrs to the “cause”. John Brown sowed discention, chaos and violence in his wake. He is no different from the islamo-facists that seek to remake the world in their own images. No matter the righteousness of your cause, lawlessness is never the correct answer. Murder is never appropriate.  Chaos is never desirable.  But the “Great Divider” and his henchmen   can’t comprehend that, they never have been able too.  It’s a symptom of the Self Absorption Syndrome they all share.

So President Obama, please take your snake oil routine back to Washington where people are apparently too busy, too intelligent and too self absorbed to see the emperor has on no clothes.  And to those of you who may say that we should give him a chance, he hasn’t given his speech yet, I would respond……he’s had 3 years to get something right.  Even if he started today there is no way he can fix the damage  he’s already caused.  A greater man would have resigned by now.  A good man would never have run.  He is neither.

I just simply don’t know what to say.  I have bellyached on this blog about the woeful ignorance of the American electorate.  I have said we deserve what we get when we throw out our integrity, our sacred honor, our humanity.  I have likened people to animals, to robots, to rocks.  Never before have I been as disgusted, as horrified, as completely verklemp as I find myself today.

Now I realize that not everyone in this country is a greedy, self centered, narcissistic, lazy, moronic dipstick with the morals of an alley cat. I mean I know people that work everyday, pay their bills, raise their children to be good citizens,  most often by example.  They pay  the taxes that fund welfare, medicare, guaranteed student loans, Fanny and Freddy mortgages and government bailouts.  Today however I am about to throw in the towel.

I belong to a religious organization that teaches we MUST love one another.  If we don’t, we are not going to progress after this life.  As a matter of fact we may have to go somewhere quite unpleasant.  I’m on the good ship “going to a bad place” because I can not love those who today abused children as young as 4 in New York city.  Why did they do this?  Because life is not going the way they wanted it to.  Because they’re disappointed.  Because they’ve made poor choices in their career choices, their political leaders and they have abdicated their moral compass.

Guess what? Most of us out here who are towing the line are disappointed as well.  My spouse after working for a newspaper for 21 years was laid off at 51 years old.  I have a degree that won’t get me a job unless I want to move to the east coast.  I’ve got to tell you after the behavior I’ve seen this fall I wouldn’t live there if I was guaranteed a job, a free house and free food for the rest of my life. I am now also laid off and can not find a job because as you might be able to guess I am also over 50. I worked for one of those banks that took government money and promptly laid off and closed our whole center, moved our jobs out of state and other jobs overseas. No one want to hire anyone my age at least where I live.

We should have been looking forward to retirement.  Now we’ll be lucky if I don’t spend the rest of my life as a greeter at Wal Mart or a cashier at 7-11, if I can even get hired there. And we are some of the luckier ones, my spouse found a job.  Once Obama care kicks in I’m probably going to jail because there is no way we can afford $1200 a month for health care. At least then I won’t be a drain on my family (silver lining).  So please forgive me if I’m not terribly sensitive to your inability to get a job making six figures right out of college.

I would appeal to the protestors better nature but as we’ve seen there isn’t one. When my parents were raising me they wanted me to have better than they did.  The Occupiers don’t give a rats belly what happens to the children or the elderly. They only care about themselves, about their pain, their suffering, their angst.  If it were up to me, I would pick up every man-jack of these malcontents and find a nice COLD island, somewhere in the North Atlantic, and deposit them, their tents, heater, drugs, and weapons and let them destroy themselves.  I would be doing the world a favor by taking out the trash.

I am so furious that I am glad I don’t live anywhere close to a place that has an Occupy  encampment. I think if I did there might be a few rogue skunks making their way into the park .  Of course the protestors might not be able to tell the difference.  They can’t possibly stink as much as their behavior, can they?

These people are the high priests and priestesses of chicanery.  The Kings and Queens of mendacity.  They own dirty tricks Chicago style political behavior and they excel at it. They own the mantra “Vote early, vote often, vote dead”. Then there are the ads. Who could forget the “throw grandma over a cliff” ad?  In 2010 there was an ad which depicted an elderly woman being taken in handcuffs to jail all in the name of defeating the Republican candidate because he “may take away their Social Security.  Then there was this little bit of theater:

The Democratic National Committee produced an ad slamming the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. It showed a thief mugging a woman in a parking garage. “They’re stealing our democracy, spending millions from secret donors to elect Republicans to do their bidding in Congress,” the ad stated. “It appears they’ve even taken secret foreign money to influence our elections.” The New York Times stated flatly: “Democrats have offered no evidence that the Chamber is using foreign money to influence the elections.”

Then of course there was the NBP nonsense in PA which of course wasn’t important enough for Holder’s justice department to prosecute.   Contrary to the flavor of the Post article, a large man standing around flourishing a nightstick would inhibit most people, no matter their color.  It was inappropriate but then this group is all about inappropriate as long as it’s on the correct side of the isle.

Let us not forget that when this president took office we were already facing an economic crisis. His inaction and worse his and his cronies irresponsible actions have not only deepened the recession but managed to gain some of his most fervent apologizers millions of dollars in profit. I guess crony capitalism is alive and well and living in the liberal enclaves of our once great nation.

If this had been a Conservative president there would have been calls for his impeachment, a criminal investigation and jail time, but we’re supposed to look the other way when the Warren Buffits, George Soros’ and Michael Moores make money hand over fist due to their friendship with the “powers that be”.  While there are crooks on both sides of the isle, the inherent hypocrisy of those on the left who support the “Occupy” demonstrators and our Commandeerer in Chief is blinding.

The emperor has no clothes and his supporters have no grasp of reality.   A match mad in the Hell to which we are all speedily heading.

He’s done so well so far in managing the economy. At every turn his done the exact wrong thing making an awesomely bad situation so much worse, that I’m sure all of the business concerns are waiting with baited breath to hear further pearls of wisdom from the master. Wisdom from someone so criminally incompetent that if he’s been an executive of a corporation he’d have been fired 15 months ago.  Someone with NO experience in the business world at all, ever.

Obama like Dodds, Frank and the rest of the “stimulus” mavens need to be impeached, recalled and investigated.  Americans are being laid off or fired by companies who feel they no longer have room for employees who are going to soon cost them more then the profit they expect to make.  With the mandate for health care and the cost of hundreds of new regulations small businesses are down sizing or doing without.  Large companies (like banks and car companies) are sending jobs overseas where information like your name, address and social security numbers are available to those who have no interest or desire to keep them private.

So, no Mr. Obama we are not lazy.  Scared, angry, depressed and disheartened but not lazy.  That would be YOUR fans.  You know the Occupy folks, the Welfare royalty, the illegal aliens, the drug runners and terminal victims and the Hollyweird cabal, you know the Jerry Springer guest and watchers.

I posted this as a comment on a PJ Media story (sometimes my comments are apparently offensive, I have no clue why but it’s their site they can do as they like.  I’m open minded like that. ; P). So I thought I’d repost here.  I know the owner of this blog and she’s pretty easy to get along with. Wink,wink, nudge, nudge, say no more, say no more!

One of the realties of life is that a majority of citizens are not conservative or liberal. There are always going to be folks in the middle that are for example fiscal conservatives and socially liberal or who are moderate on some issues and not on others. They are and will always be uncomfortable with the “if you’re not fer us, you’re agan’ ust” attitude parroted by both parties. They see that while there are standards reality must by nature be addressed.

Let’s take abortion for example. Fact there are lots of people having unprotected sex, there are rapes, incest and times when the life of the mother is in danger. For some of these events there needs to be a procedure to address a wrong perpetrated by someone other than the woman (apart from the criminal aspect). Both sides of the debate seem to forget this is a medical procedure and should have stayed just that. It is not nor should it be, used as birth control or for the convenience of the parties involved.

The lefts stand of it’s a woman’s body and she gets to decide what happens to it is fallacious and the rights stand that no matter the circumstances the procedure should never be done is just as ridiculous. As with zero tolerance policies they fly in the face of logic and reason and have entered the realm of Kabuki theater. Our Judio-Christian legal system operates one case at a time and while I understand it is easier to lump all similar things together and make draconian decisions for all, it just isn’t right.

The President has to be the president for “All Americans”. He has to stand even for those he disagrees with. If he doesn’t he will eventually stand for no one. We on the right should now be able to understand that, given political agenda of the current resident of 1600 Penn. Ave. Does he represent us, NO! Does he respect our opinions, beliefs and desires? Seriously? So this is a good way to govern?

But I guess to some of us, as long as our side is the perpetuator, that makes it right (pun sooooooo intended).
