From the rise of Napolean to the ascent of Hitler there have been symathizers and appearsers of tyranny, depotisms. From the elite to the intelligensia to the ignorant, the forces of evil have found fertile ground in which to grow their caustic, poisonous blend of evil under the guise of ” equality, liberty, fraternity,” for some. Control, enslavement and death for those who either will not bend or those who are deemed not valuable enough.
Today it is the rise of Islam and it’s accompanying Sharia law which threatens the very fabric of our eternites. The propagandists and appeasers would have us believe that alternately “Islam is a religion of peace” or ” if we don’t make them mad, sad or aware of our existence they’ll leave us alone”. Both are, as history has shown us, concepts that are complete lies and fabrications as well as being completely useless.
Evil never sleeps. It is never satisfied. It’s voracious appetite is never whetted. It continues to crave power and control over the minds and souls of men. Money, land and possessions are only the vehicles used to further it’s aims. It is all about the souls and the entity who desires them. While many would have you believe that this is not true that in itself is testimony of the truthfulness of the argument. Why make so much over a faulty belief, why fight so desperately against a flawed ideal?
The spread of evil is the symptom of a vacuum. Whenever evil wins, it is only by default: by the moral failure of those who evade the fact that there can be no compromise on basic principles.
Freedom loving people have always been at war with the forces of slavery and despotism. Communism, socialism, fascism are all really the same -ism and have the same end, the enslavement of the human soul. Only one entity has that as their stated and published goal.
Islam is no different. Religion, as long ago Crusaders learned, enforced by the sword, creates fare-weather adherents at best, impatient enemies at worst. We stand at the precipice, there is no going back, no do overs, no take backs.
A quote contributed to Edmund Burke but supposedly not uttered by him says;
All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
It’s a great quote no matter who said it.
Believe or not, it’s your funeral.
