Thanks to the impeached president Bill Clinton we have a different concept of language. Clinton informed us that we have to first understand and decide on what the meaning of a word is before we can decide on the guilt or innocence of a perpetrator. You remember “it all depends on what the meaning of the word is, is.”
Today we have Debbie Wasserman Schultz. First you’d think someone with the name Debbie would at her age go for either the shorter Deb or the more formal Deborah, just to appear a little less immature, screechy and whiny. Second, since when did the term “wrong” not denote that something was false?
1.not in accordance with what is morally right or good: a
2. deviating from truth or fact; erroneous: a wrong answer.
3. not correct in action, judgment, opinion, method, etc., as a
person; in error
: You are wrong to blame him.
4. not proper or usual; not in accordance with requirements
or recommended practice: the wrong way to hold a golf club.
5. out of order; awry; amiss: Something is wrong with the machine.
How by all that’s Holy, does any thinking educated adult come to the conclusion that something that is wrong is not false? I guess the same way that someone maintaining that the sky is orange can agree that the sky is apricot, bittersweet, cantaloupe, carrot, coral, peach, red-yellow, salmon, tangerine, titian. But lets cut to the chase shall we.
President Obama and his administration LIED. They told a falsehood. They knew from almost the beginning that the intelligence community thought the attack was premeditated. From threats, from previous attacks, from intelligence gathered in the months and weeks before. Security personnel have the unfortunate duty to be whistle blowers against the federal government, putting at risk their lives and their careers (because the DOJ can’t seem to prosecute illegal aliens, black panthers, gun runners, drug dealers or tax evaders but they can and do put whistle blowers in jail, especially those who point up mistakes made by “his majesty and the court”).
Not only did they LIE but they sent other people out to lie for them. These folks stood before reporters, cameras, and TV audiences and told them bald faced falsehoods to try to deflect blame. There is only one person responsible for the disaster that was Libya. It is the person who refused to do his job, the person who was too busy being on the View, or raising money in Vegas or playing golf or whatever other time waster he could think up. The buck as Pres. Reagan famously said “stops here”. Reagan had that sentiment sitting on his desk in the Oval Office. The president is responsible for his administration. From the press secretary, to the Secretary to the United Nations. No wonder the rest of the world /UN thinks we’re a bunch of moronic nimrods. With people like Susan Rice involved they can be assured we won’t tell the truth and are too stupid or lazy or arrogant to make up a plausible lie.
I would suggest that the people of Florida find something approaching a backbone and replace this incompetent, mean spirited partisan hack but I know that’s not to be. For some reason Jewish voters seem to think that if it looks like a duck, no matter how it talks, what it says and who it supports, it must be a duck. The rest of us understand the wolf in sheep’s clothing idea but apparently the idea that one would sell out one’s constituency is foreign to them. Naive in the extreme.
The time has come to retire the mistake of 2008. While Gov. Romney is not perfect he is at least competent. He has run a successful business, governed successfully a state and saved the Olympics from certain disaster. Juxtapose that with a community organizer, law professor whose knowledge of the constitution verges on the irresponsible. Hopefully Ms Schultz will return to the swamp where scary things dwell and leave the rest of us to live in peace but that like the ability of the administration to tell the truth seems unlikely.
