…..(add the name of your liberal of choice here).
I have seen a lot of hypocrisy in my life. I’m been hypocritical a few times in the past, OK more than a few times. No one escapes the clutches of hypocrisy, no matter how good, no matter how kind, no matter how they guard against it. It is part and parcel of the human condition.
That said this really does take the cake. It’s makes all hypocrisies pale in comparison.
Yes, Diane Feinstein Democrat extraordinaire from the fruit bowl of the West, San Francisco (by the bay) began a press conference with a word of prayer. Of course she found the most liberal preacher she could find to do so, but still a prayer. A Prayer? Really? This is a woman who never met a religious person she didn’t disagree with. Her causes stretch from gay marriage to no prayer at any event ever in schools to abortion on demand up until the babies head leaves the birth canal.
This woman condones asking God to sort out our problems. She has turned this issue over to the Almighty and she really thinks that all she has to do is knock on the door and God is just going to melt into a little puddle and throw open the windows of heaven because she finally deigns to acknowledge him. After years of ignoring, denying and impeding God, she now wants him to do her bidding. She is flat out amazing. The hubris, the gall, the out and out chutzpah she embodies is almost unbelievable. When she decides religion is appropriate than “Katie bar the door” as it were.
What happened to not offending others? What happened to inclusion, political correctness and sensitivity? Pragmatism that’s what. Her advisors, her handlers the people who call the shots finally got it through to her. The people on the other side of the gun control debate have had to acknowledge that 38 million hunters (yes that’s right million with a large M) plus all the other legal gun owners, you know the ones who don’t hunt, who have weapons for protection from things like a government run amuck. They plus the hunters number somewhere around 80 million (yes again big M) when you add them all together and that could be a real problem for the anti gun activists and lobbyists. They aren’t simply going to stand by and let government “take” “confiscate” or “infringe” on the 2nd amendment.
No, now it’s time to break up the conservatives again. It’s time to turn them against each other. They’ve done it before and they aren’t afraid to do it again. After all it worked so well in that last two presidential elections. It’s time to pit the religious against the religious and what better issue to focus on than guns. Not everyone likes them, not everyone understands the importance of keeping the few rights we have left. Most people don’t know or refuse to accept that Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Castro and most other dictators began their reigns of terror by taking guns away from citizens. It is right out of the Alinsky play book. Learning from history is like sunlight to vampires, for liberals. They can’t believe they’re not the smartest person in the group. They refuse to accept that they don’t know everything and they refuse to accept the unintended consequences from their policies, no matter what the outcomes. It’s all rainbows and unicorns except they can’t see the excrement anywhere and they refuse to believe their shoes are covered in dung.
It’s time to retire Ms. Feinsein and her ilk. She a partisan politician who is interested in nothing except feathering her own nest. We need to get rid of her and her companions on both sides of the isle. If she can’t look out for the good of t he country she needs to be gone. If she refuses to stand for her own beliefs it would be better that she sat on some board somewhere, where she wouldn’t do any harm. If she wants to be a hypocrite let her do so on her own dime/ time.
I believe that God could help us with our problems but he won’t make us do anything. We have choices, where to go, who to go with, what to do. All of these decisions are put there to hep us succeed buy either doing the right thing or learning what happens when we do what’s wrong. Diane Fienstein should figure out just what god she’s praying to and then do so. She needs to be the “whatever” she is and she needs to allow others to make those same decisions for themselves but more than that she needs to dial back the hypocrisy index before she implodes.
